The Sr. Manager Wholesale Long Distance role is based inBrampton and reports to the Director Global Long Distance in the Wholesale team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive overall cost savings, which enable the consumer and enterprise business units to offer high quality long distance and toll free services to customers. You must possess both the interest in continuous improvement as well as the aptitude to investigate, yse and communicate in both technical and business environments.
:Supplier management, including negotiating global voice agreements and contract compliance management, working closely with Legal
:Lead deep investigations with traffic engineering and network for the cost optimization and optimal customer experience
:Champion the implementation of required network changes to support cost and quality objectives
:Manage relationships with existing wholesale service management tools (Telarix) and the implementation of new tools with Operations, Network and the supplier
:Optimize customer experience. Work with network to resolve low QoS results or move traffic as needed.
:Network knowledge of voice services or demonstrated ability to learn
:Curiosity to identify opportunities for improvement and the tenacity to problem solve to completion
:Excellent cross functional collaboration, influence and communication capabilities
:Well:developed organizational skills and an open collaborative mind suitable for team work
:Excellent Excel skills, strong PowerPoint and Word required
:SQL, Telarix iXTools and Microsoft Access capabilities are desirable
