Rogers is seeking a Sr. Business yst to lead and deliver solutions for EBU by acting as a liaison between Rogers business stakeholders and our development teams within the IT organization. Reporting to the Senior IT Engagement Manager of Enterprise Growth Platforms at the Rogers Brampton Campus. Sr. Business yst will have the following accountabilities:
:Ensure business requirements are clearly identified, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions.
:Produce high quality Solution Design Specification do ents to be reviewed by business stakeholders and the development teams to be translated to design and development.
:Maintain on:going communication with business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
:Investigates and yses of problems, including impact ysis of change on all systems and business areas in order to recommend appropriate solutions
:Define and review test cases; validate individual functions and the overall solution delivery.
:Assist with acceptance testing and the planning and coordination of system deliverables.
:Post implementation support and review.
:Provide support to other Engagement Managers on the team.
:Liaise between business, users, and developers.
:Assist with the implementation of new programs or systems into the production environment.
:Taking on a leadership role on mid:size projects.
Qualifications and Critical Skills:
:Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent is required.
:CBAP certification preferred.
:5 years experience in a business yst or similar yst role required.
:3 to 5 years experience using Rogers systems preferred and/or an asset.
:5 years of demonstrated experience eliciting, gathering and do enting requirements, including JAD coordination and use case identification.
:Ability to express ideas and facts in a clear and understandable manner, tailoring communication to the intended audience.
:Strong inter:personal and organizational skills.
:Highly effective written and communications.
:Highly developed ytical and logical reasoning skills.
:Excellent time management and priority management skills.
:Proactive, responsive and focused.
:Flexible and possesses a willingness to take on new projects/roles and to contribute to the teams success in a variety of capacities.
:Ability to thrive and succeed in an ever changing fast pace environment
