This group provide compliance and business solutions support to our national tax practice and the wide variety of industries we service. We are looking to expand our practice and have an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join the team who has aspirations to grow their career in the compliance field. The successful individual will manage and oversee tax compliance as well as liaise with internal and external clients while leading a team of professionals.

In this role you will:
:Plan, manage and deliver on compliance engagements
:Determine resource requirements and manage staff
:Review corporate, partnership and trust returns
:Build relationships with clients, manage client expectations and ensure outstanding client service
:Participate in the development and delivery of learning programs and create a learning environment
:Actively mentor and coach team members to their highest potential
:Support clients in their dealing with taxation authority audits and help identify risk areas
:Ensure optimum productivity and efficiency through the use of technology
:Create a learning environment through leadership
External Posting Qualifications 13;
:Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials
:Formal training in a recognized tax program such as the CICA In:depth Tax program and an accounting designation would be considered an asset
:Minimum 5 years of relevant Canadian tax work experience with a focus on compliance
:Experience in corporate, trust and partnership return preparation and review
:Comfortable using various software and technologies
:Experience managing relationships with external clients and a commitment to client service excellence
:Demonstrated experience managing multiple high volume engagements simultaneously
:Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills with the ability to work well under pressure
:Superior verbal and written communication skills
:Good working knowledge of tax laws necessary to review corporate, trust and partnership returns 13;
