As a Senior Manager, you would be responsible for the following:
:Having a deep understanding of the relevant tax laws and being able this to the particular clients facts and cir stances;
:Planning and leading engagements including structuring shareholder planning, succession planning, estate planning, executive compensation, developing acquisition and divestiture strategies and tax compliance;
:Proactively understanding the needs of the client and working with them to develop relevant and valuable tax solutions and planning strategies;
:Building relationships at a senior level and being seen as a trusted business advisor;
:Achieving expertise in a specialization;
:Maintaining and developing existing customers, as well as, identifying new business opportunities which will contribute to the development of the practice;
:Participating in the development and delivery of training programs
:Actively mentoring and coaching team members to their highest potential;
:Creating a learning environment through leadership.

:Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials;
:A completed masters degree or accounting designation or LLB; Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience;
:Completion of the CICA In:depth Tax program;
:Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence;
:Superior verbal and written communication skills;
:Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities;
:Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, do entation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership;
:Experienced in business development and building a practice;
:Ability to anticipate the long term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving;
:Execute a client service plan on complex engagements and work closely with the Partners in exceeding our clients expectations while identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects;
:Fluently bilingual (English/ : verbal and written) is an asset;
:Occasional Canadian travel required
