You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry:into:service. Currently, these new products are the all:new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high:performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.
The Engineering Transformation Project team will work with the Engineering organization at all BUs as well as interfacing functions to define and transform the approach and tool used to execute Engineering programs in order to ensure that objectives are achieved in shorter times with more accuracy and efficiency. The focus will be to have common solutions and tools across BUs. This initiative will be run as a 'Project' with phases, phase gates, milestones and deliverables.
In your role, you will:
: Be responsible for developing, harmonizing and maintaining the master schedule for the project. You must have a working level understanding of the schedule activities and their interdependencies. On a regular basis, provide schedule ysis, understand schedule drivers including critical path assessment, identify key schedule disconnects and follow up with stakeholders.
: Be responsible for arranging/coordinating meetings including all of the related logistics and validation with attendees.
: Have good writing skills
: Have a reasonable grasp of upcoming deliverables.
: Participate in workshops with stakeholders from all BUs and follow:up on the key activities.
: Visibility and reporting: Generate regular governance reports / presentations and distribute as applicable.
: KPIs: Maintain KPIs for the Project.
: Support other senior members of the Engineering Transformation Project Management team.
As our ideal candidate,
: You have a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
: You have a minimum of two to e years of relevant experience in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Integration or equivalent.
: You must have good writing skills
: You have a good grasp of Project Management principles.
: You have experience in aerospace.
: You can demonstrate excellent and written communication skills.
: You have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
: You are a team player.
