You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry:into:service. Currently, these new products are the all:new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high:performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.
This position is for an Engineering Specialist in Propulsion Controls part of the Core Engineering Propulsion team to supports New Product Development and Sustaining Programs.
In your role, you will:
: Provide support and direction to the Development Programs and Sustaining programs for Requirement Definition, Design, Integration, Qualification, Flight Testing and Certification for Propulsion Control Systems.
: Interface directly with all Propulsion specialties and their interfacing systems.
: Provide support to business units in Propulsion Control requirement definition, verification and validation, following ARP4754
: Interface with Propulsion System Suppliers
: Support Test rig and Flight Test Activities.
: Support the Knowledge Focal of Controls to capture and share knowledge
As our ideal candidate,
: You possess a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 10 or more years of relevant experience in Propulsion Controls.
: You possess very good knowledge in Propulsion Control Systems and their integration on the aircraft.
: You have good knowledge of the Aircraft and Propulsion Control interfacing systems.
: You possess strong New Product development expertise.
: You possess very good interpersonal and problem solving skills in order to interface with other teams and Suppliers, as well as good written and communication skills in English.
: You are available to travel on short term assignments as required.
