The Accounts Payable team is part of the BCE Corporate Controllers team and is responsible for the Accounts Payable functions for BCE, Bell Canada and all its subsidiaries. The team is required to provide accurate timely payments and financial information on a monthly and quarterly basis.
The Accounts Payable team is currently seeking a Manager who will report to the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate will be supportingsupervising 6 non management employees to ensure day to day tasks are delivered on a timely basis. In addition, the AP manager will participate in projects on automation, process improvement and integrations of new companies.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
:Responsible for supporting 6 non management staff
:Responsible for supporting activities related to Accounts Payable;
:Responsible for answering calls and emails from suppliers and employees;
:Responsible for reconciliations of over 150 G/L accounts of accounts;
:Responsible for month end and Journal entry processing including accruals
:Answer to A/P related adhoc requests.
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
:Accounting title CPA (CA, CGA or CMA)
:Knowledge of the Accounts Payable function;
:At least e years of experience leading a team of non:management employees
:Bilingual ( and English);
:Knowledge of SAP;
:Excellent leadership, interpersonal and people management skills
:Strong ytical and reporting skills
:Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
:Fast learning of procedures and processes;
:Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook;
:Good organizational skills
