In the role of Sales Support, you will support sale:related activity within the store by ensuring transactions are performed within company standards. You will perform daily cash deposits, identify and reconcile media discrepancies, and work with the Cash Office Supervisor in reporting results to the Accounting Department.
: Daily execution and completion of cash reports. Ensure all credit cards, checks and travelers checks balance. Correct discrepancies from past cash reports on a timely basis.
: Ensure accurate daily cash and check deposit with double signatures is prepared and ready for pick:up each morning.
: Ensure change box has appropriate funding at all times.
: Follow opening and closing procedures; and ensure all cash drawers are accounted for in safe and are prepared for the following morning.
: Provide exceptional customer service when processing or facilitating internal and external transactions.
: Daily Communication with the Cash Office Supervisor and/or Operations Manager to discuss issues relating to needs of Cash Office and performance of staff
: A minimum of 1 year experience operating a cash register in a retail environment, preferably in a luxury store environment
: Knowledge of POS System and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
: Willing to work in and promote a team oriented environment
: Must have strong communication and organization skills
: Must be results driven and flexible to change
