The Scientific Communication Veterianrian is a 14 month contract that will be responsible forrepresenting and promotingboth Royal Canin and its products to the veterinary profession by liaising with key opinion leaders, veterinary schools and animal health technician colleges. Responsible for: supporting the sales representatives, implementing the marketing business plan and providing CE evening sessions.
Provides technical expertise skills enabling a high level of customer service for the Case Consultation Service.
Scientific Communication Specialist Accountabilities:
:Promotes company name and products at the veterinary schools and technician colleges, by calling on specialists and key influencers, by public speaking engagements to improve market position and by coordinating national programs to increase awareness of Royal Canin products.
:Provide technical support to sales team through in:clinic discussions, seminar presentations, corporate presence at trade shows and conferences as required
:Meet with key opinion leaders of the region to build relationship and partnerships with Royal Canin
:Liaise with Royal Canin Student Ambassadors.
:Develops and conducts technical presentations to a variety of audiences.
:Provides technical accounts support to territory managers and participates in training and update of sales representatives on technical aspects of products as needed
:Assists and participates in addressing and solving issues in the competitive intelligence area and formulating responses to technical challenges that may arise.
Technical Service Veterinarian Accountabilities:
:Provides technical support to the veterinary community (veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support staff) through the case consultation service encompassing dietary recommendation and clinical case management combining precise nutrition and best medicine approach.
:Manages customer complaints / concerns as directed by manager.
:Develops technical training/reference do entations as required (Clinical notes, Technical Bulletin presentation, internal do ent)
:Develops and delivers technical training programs to the sales force, new hires and scientific communication /technical services teams based on respective PPT responsibility.
:Attends scientific conferences and keep abreast of current scientific knowledge and trends in the scientific community.
:Gathers competitive intelligence data through the case consultation line conversations, conferences attendance, field activities and KOLs liaison and cascade the information to appropriate associates.
