Despite increasing investment in cyber security, cyber attacks are growing in both number and sophistication. Today, cyber crime is no longer an emerging issue; it is prevalent and proliferating. Cyber criminals have broadened their targets from financial assets to intellectual property and are not only focusing on financial crime but also on disrupting and destroying critical infrastructure. That means cyber threats are no longer confined to the realm of technology; instead they carry legal, financial and operational risks that require both management and board attention. Businesses in all industries and of all sizes are potential targets or collateral damage. Taking steps to reduce cyber risk is a necessity, not a luxury.
The repercussions of a cyber attack can be limitless. Watch this video (youtube/watch?vl_XOrcBxy:E) to see how Deloitte (and you) can help companies defend themselves, taking control of the situation.
