:Completion of the annual GHG reports and on:time submission to the applicable federal and provincial reporting programs, as well as submission of GHG data to other voluntary reporting programs (i.e. corporate sustainability report, reporting to industry associations, etc.)
:Ensure all data collection and reporting systems are in place and operational for EGD, ENB, LP and SLG in conjunction with the GHG Reporting Lead
:Work collaboratively with the GHG Reporting Lead to identify opportunities to lower EGDs GHG emissions
:Stay abreast of GHG reporting regulatory requirements and changes and provide input towards government and stakeholder sessions including in environmental committees inside and outside of the organization as required
:Provide input and insights towards EIs Corporate Social Responsibility reporting : qualitative and quantitative input
:Provide support towards understanding and development of the Offset area opportunities
:Must possess, or be working towards, a professional designation such as P.Eng or EP (Environmental Practitioner)
:Post:secondary education in an environmental program, such as environmental engineering, environmental science, or GHG reporting certification
:3:5 years of experience in the environmental field
:Proven ability to handle large relational databases; as well as large volumes of data/modelling, ideally in the area of emission data management systems
:Drivers license in good standing (position may include periodic travel to field locations)
:Self:starter, able to juggle multiple competing priorities
:Ability to build a positive team environment
:GHG ysis and reporting experience and/or air emissions related experience
:Moderate to strong knowledge and interest in Cap and Trade and/or Environmental issues
:Salary and job level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
