As a Business Operations Assistant you will be responsible for working with various teams within the Deloitte Calgary office to oversee, maintain and ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operations. A successful candidate will possess a high level of experience with delivering excellent office support which includes greeting clients, security assistance, ordering office supplies, facilities management, photocopying, binding, filing, etc.
This role includes, but is not limited to the following primary duties:
:Responsible for ensuring the readiness of the office environment for the day:to:day operations
:Accountable for sufficient office supplies on the office floors
:Perform general office maintenance and organization of meeting rooms, workstations, supply rooms, printer/copier areas
:Ensure resolution of meeting room booking requirements such as setup, takedown, catering, special requests, etc.
:Provide assistance to internal staff for office requests, such as assistance with photocopy jobs, digital scanning, faxing, binding requests, etc.
:Sort incoming mail, packages, periodicals for mailbox placement
:Process outgoing mail and packages
:Resolve mass mailings, large deliveries, periodicals distribution, etc.
:Support internal staff arrivals, departures and relocations with their seating reservations, workspace cleanliness, assigned cabinets, keys, mailboxes, moving bins, deficiencies, and special requests
:Liaise with other support staff to discuss issues, provide updates and resolve problems
:Health and safety floor warden, first aid program assistance and support required
:May be required to provide assistance on special projects throughout the Prairie region
:Administrative support as required
External Posting Qualifications 13;
:Minimum 3 : 5 years of work experience in customer service, hospitality, or office services environment
:Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
:Superior customer service skills
:Excellent attention to detail
:Proactive and results driven
:Ability to multi:task and be a team player
:Ability to prioritize and organize workload
:Flexible work schedules required as needed
:This position may require overtime
:Required to move tables, chairs, boxes and/or moving bins
:Able to lift up to 50 pounds
