You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry:into:service. Currently, these new products are the all:new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high:performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.
In your role, you will:
: Sizing of flight control surfaces
: preparing and executing wind tunnel and flight test plans
: ysing and processing simulation and test data
: Participating in flight test planning, execution and ysis, including pre and post flight briefing/debriefing
: Writing and reviewing reports which demonstrate flight characteristic compliance with airworthiness regulations
: Planning and conducting desk top or pilot:in:the:loop simulations to determine consequences of design changes and failure cases on aircraft handling characteristics
: Developing and applying new technologies and methodologies
As our ideal candidate,
: You have a bachelors degree in Aeronautical (or Mechanical) Engineering.
: You have good programming skills. Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating system environments, Matrixx, Matlab, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint is an asset.
: You have good written and communication skills.
