Contact Center Technical support
team is looking for an experienced Genesys CTI and IBM AIX operational and support person to join our CTI
operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a CTI environment With Genesys 6.X/7.X TServers as well as with IVR systems, Speech Recognition systems and with Oracle databases. The candidate should have experience in the in the ysis, testing, implementation and support of medium to large scale IT systems. This is an excellent career opportunity for a highly motivated individual with outstanding organizational skills who wants to grow into a project leader / architect role.
:The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and support of the production and development CTI platforms (Genesys) and will interface with our telephony group on configuration items for multiple PBX types (Avaya, Aspect, Rockwell, etc.).
:Development and maintenance of call flow routing strategies
:Version upgrades, password changes and drive backups
:CTI performance assessment via usage reports (generating and reviewing the reports)
:Maintain an up to date knowledge of CTI hardware, software and development tools/techniques/best practices
:Provide resolution of problems in an efficient and timely manner
:Prepare all technical system and operational do entation.
:Some evening work will be required for after:hours upgrades and patch loads
:Provide support in an after:hours on:call capacity in a rotating schedule (average 1 week per month).
:Perform patch loads, antivirus and service pack updates
:Experience with Web Services, TDM and IP/SIP architectures an asset.
:Hands:on Experience with IBM AIX and Windows environments required.
:Experience deploying and configuring applications on single/multiple servers and clusters.
:Ability to handle / organize multiple complex technical tasks simultaneously.
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
:Strong ytical and problem solving skills.
:Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
:Must be self:motivated and able to work both independently and with others.
:University or College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
:Experience with IVR and Speech Recognition an asset.
:Experience with Oracle Databases, stored procedures and performance optimization an asset
