As part of the Commercial Aircraft Material Services Team based in Mirabel, you will take a lead role in the management of the Commercial Aircraft Cost:per:hour component repair management programs, focused on growing the business by creating solutions that meet customer requirements worldwide.
In your role, you will:
: Provide strategic guidance for the future growth of all BCA cost per hour rotable programs
: Develop custom solutions for all BCA customers globally based on their local requirements
: Ensure that customer contracts accurately reflect customer and internal expectations and can be enforced in a collaborative environment with the customer throughout the life of the contract.
: Understand the profitability of the Program including cost, inventory and program change initiatives, and adjust commercial terms to improve program profitability with new customers
: Identify process improvements to enhance Program effectiveness
: Drive internal alignment amongst Bombardier departments and lead cross:functional initiatives to ensure Smart Parts Customers receive a premium experience
: Maintain an excellent customer relationships through monthly operational teleconferences and formal Program Review.
As our ideal candidate,
: You hold a Business degree. Additional degrees in Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering would be considered an asset. Qualifications as an aircraft technician would also be an asset.
: You have 10 years or more experience in aircraft parts management with responsibility for commercial negotiations. Preferably your experience would be in managing rotable repairs in an airline or in a component repair provider environment.
: You have significant experience in negotiating contracts and you are comfortable writing language that effectively captures customer requirements while protecting Bombardier's interests.
: You have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
: You are comfortable talking to senior executives and decisions makers at airlines around the world about both commercial and technical issues related to repair management and cost per hour programs.
: You have strong ytical skills, business a en, and a sales oriented outlook.
: You are a team player with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment.
: You are proficient with Windows applications: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
