The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is the main liaison between IT and the business. The BRM partners with the business and builds strong relationships, enabling solutions to achieve business goals through effective use of IT. The BRM has significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and assigned business area. The BRM is responsible to understand the business, assist in the prioritization of IT initiatives, ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and direct IT strategy in support of the overall business and enterprise strategy. An effective BRM contributes to the business leadership team by actively engaging with the business to discuss strategic direction and works to identify ways for the provider to support and advance the business objectives. The BRM understands the business sufficiently to communicate the project details to the technology teams, and understands the technology sufficiently to communicate solutions to the business.
In your role, you will:
: Understand the enterprise mission and strategy, and work with the IT Partner Organization to integrate individual projects into a cohesive roadmap.
: Understand how IT's products and services benefit the business.
: Build and continually enhance the relationship with business and IT stakeholders.
: Review and prioritize IT projects, activities, and services to ensure optimal balance between needs of the business, relative to the capacity of IT resources.
: Do ent business case and opportunity evaluation by facilitating discussions with the business to capture, define and clearly understand requirements for IT solutions and services.
: Provide overall project / request for change (RFC) direction, guidance and scope; monitor advancement, and ensure issue resolution to successfully deliver solutions.
: Respond to highly critical service incidents. Keep clients updated during recovery or resolution.
: Ensure IT services meet customer needs and expectations, and that IT initiatives are met in a timely manner and within a prescribed budget.
: Support continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities for increased operational efficiency.
As our ideal candidate,
: You hold a Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline.
: You have a minimum of e (5) years of experience in client management or related area.
: You have a minimum of e (5) years of exposure to IT concepts and solutions.
: You have excellent written and communication skills to convey complex ideas simply, through written reports and presentation materials. ( and English)
: You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the management team.
: You have a presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade and facilitate discussions with management team.
