Reporting to the production lead, you will work on the Terra Nova Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel to monitor, perform startup and shutdown activities, and prepare process utility systems on:board.
:Conduct routine operation and inspection of all related pressure systems and rotating equipment
:Test product quality of injection water, produced water, injection gas, and potable and boiler feed water
:Monitor, control and perform minor maintenance and adjustments on operating systems
:Maintain daily unit operating logbook for shift records
:Operate safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and regulations
:Report all incidents, near misses and hazardous conditions
:Follow and understand all control of work:process on a daily basis
:Perform all routine housekeeping duties in work area
:Participate as a member of the Offshore Emergency Response Team as required
Experience and Education:
:Three or more years of related experience in the petrochemical industry; FPSO experience would be an asset
:Technologist or industry certification (Petroleum/Mechanical/Power Engineer/Stationary Engineer or equivalent)
:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Skills and Knowledge:
:Working knowledge of process separation, gas compression, utility and power generation systems, and control of work processes and systems
:Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems and quality processes
:Ability and willingness for on:the:job:training from Process Area 1 to Area 2 and 3 based on competency evaluation/assessment and do entation
:You collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
:You do not take or tolerate shortcuts and if the procedure is incorrect, you fix it
:This position has been identified as safety sensitive
:The shift schedule is a 21 days on/21 days off rotation (12:hour shifts) in an offshore environment on a floating facility
