Rogers ITSis seeking an experienced Production Support yst to support our Payments, Creditsand Decisioning applications and systems. Reporting to Payments and Decisioning Systems operation support Manager at the Rogers Brampton Campus (8200 Dixie Road), this individual will be responsible to monitor and support of multiple applications on various platforms, yze and investigatethe problems and provide the solution,assist in release deployments, participateor collaborate insmall and large projects, manage different Vendors, business relations,participate in the after:hours on call rotation and to continuously improve the support process and do entations.
:Manage, support and maintain production support and services of various applications and differentinfrastructure environment with minimal guidance
:Provide technical supervision and consultation to users, assess their technical needs and requirements
:Monitor alerts, server health, application services and ensure 24x7 availability of the production environment.
:Perform Problem determination, coordinate with various teams and raise incident for all issues, yze root cause and assist in efficient resolution of all production issues.
:Act as technical lead for all Medium, High and Very High complexity projects. Coordinate for releases, failover testing, patching activities etc.
:Provide operational requirements to the project team for process, business and capacity needs.
:Identify the operational process gaps upfront as part of the design and development of the projects and provide Preventive solutions.
:Leads and coordinates activities of application support and design development requirements and process do entation
:Build and execute short / long:term roadmaps and get business buy:in. Migrating and modernizing legacy application environments to updated platforms
:Conducts systems ysis of organizational needs and goals for the support and implementation of applications.
:Work with Development team in planning and executing test cases for integration testing, ensuring adherence to standards and design specifications.
:Maintain Rogers standards for application and workflows, implementations and service
:Perform application optimization by working with developers, customers and system support personnel. Increase; application reliability and availability through process improvement
:Identify possible integration constraints in relation to other IT systems and dependences
:Provide optimization recommendations through historical ysis and forth coming projects.Extends awareness of risks associated with application development potential
impacts, incorporating risk planning and mitigation.
:Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution Conduct release and deployment planning meetings
:Adhere to Rogers SDLC, IT Service Management, Change Management and Release Management
:Ensure standardized methods and procedures are followed for all production related changes
:Manage a team of associates, contractors, vendors and consultants. Provide thought leadership in growing the platform
:Coordinate and manage ProblemChange management and all other activities between internal and external in support of ITIL Service Management framework.
:Acts as single point of contact for multiple portfolios within a line of business, delivering ITS solutions across line of business.
