Rogers is seeking a Sr. Business Systems yst to lead and deliver Wireless solutions by acting as a liaison between Rogers business stakeholders and our development teams within the IT organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Portfolio Delivery, IT Wireless, at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, the Sr. Business Systems yst will have the following acountabilities:
:Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions.
:Elicit, yze, do ent and validate business requirements or user stories, process flows, identifying system and process solution components, producing functional specifications for solution components or possibly for the integrated solutions.
:Help identify and address business opportunities with innovative business architectures.
:Define test cases, validate individual functions and the overall solution delivery, and may be directly involved in the test process.
:Evaluate and improve business processes for the purpose of developing appropriate solutions.
:Set technology and business strategies and ensure their optimal convergence.
:Liaise between business, users, and developers.
:Communicates with project managers, application developers, subject matter experts, end users, and Rogers senior management.
:Lead complex application development projects
:Lead up to two major projects with high impact and visibility supporting wireless and/or cable products/services
:Lead integration projects which impact multiple departments or workgroups across multiple business units.
:Prime projects which involve interfaces with Network and Technology systems and/or 3rd parties.
:Lead business process improvement initiatives.
:Contribute to building relationships (vendor and business)
:Generates and do ents internal business user and functional specification requirements using interviews, do ent ysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, and task and workflow ysis in moderate to highly complex environments.
Experience and Education
:5 years of Business ysis and/or Senior Business Systems yst experience
:5 years working with SDLC (preferably waterfall methodology or other)
:5 years of experience in: Requirements Elicitation, Requirements ysis and Management, Enterprise ysis, Solution Assessment and Validation
:5 years in the Telecom Industry, working in an IT governed role
:CBAP Certification preferred or in progress.
:Ability to thrive and succeed in an ever changing fast pace environment
:Proven ability to lead other Business ysts as a lead BSA
:Strong influencing skills
:Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.
:Creates clear and coherent written materials including but not limited to:
:Business Requirements Do ents
:Solution Response Do ents (SSD, SDS, or equivalent)
:Use Case Development and Modeling
:Sequence Diagram Modeling
