Rogers is seeking an IT Production Support Lead for our SuperSystem and Maestro Application Production Support team. Reporting to the Operations Manager at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus this individual will be responsible for production application support which will include vendor management, troubleshooting system issues, providing application support, ensuring proactive system monitoring, and change management related activities. The successful candidate will join a team of specialists and work closely with the application development group and other Product Owners to ensure applications are running at maximum efficiency without issues.
:Day to day vendor management ensuring SLA's and KPI's are being adhered to.
:Responsible for working with vendors for Incident and problem management
:Provide Application and System support for Maestro and SuperSystem with the core/vendor team.
:Handle and address business communications and new requirements
:Coordination and engagement with delivery team, IT cross functional team and business.
:Responsible for operational improvements initiatives.
:24/7 On:call for production issues/incidents and escalations.
:Coordinate production issues, including high level impact ysis of change on all systems and business areas in order to recommend appropriate solutions.
:Manage production issues and work with Vendor to come up with work:around solutions to ensure an uninterrupted production stream.
:Assist in defining software change plans, including scoping, scheduling and implementation.
:Conduct systems ysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
:Reviews release notes, relevant do entation and participates in code reviews.
:Provides application and Business support ensuring appropriate application testing, system integration testing and post:implementation review of new/ changed applications.
:Manage compliance with Rogers for security and SOX requirement for the application.
:Develops domain expertise in specific business/technical skills, tools, and techniques.
:Extends understanding of business and ITS strategies, drivers, and processes at the project to department level.
:Extends awareness of risks associated with application development potential impacts, incorporating risk planning and mitigation.
:Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
:7:8 Years equivalent experience in Production Support.
:Ability to work 24/7 On:call for production issues
:At least 4:5 of experience with programming in Java, C, C++,Pro*C, UNIX, Shell Scripting, Oracle
:At least 4 years of experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL;
:At least 4:5 years of experience with Mainframes (IMS, JCL, ol, CICS, MQ)
:Nice to have Experience with Amdocs Ensemble, Clarify and CES 7.5 and above (Enabler)
