Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.Excellent customer service skills are required.Good planning skills are puter literacy and experience using spreadsheet, word processing and email applications are required. Familiarity with the companyA?s financial and sales software is strongly preferred.Certifications: CDL Class A license with hazardous materials, tanker and air brake endorsements; Class B operator of Underground Storage Tank license are required?MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Sales: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with new and established customers. Monitor periodic sales goals, market share and regional pricing to ensure the companyA?s competitive advantage. Provide feedback and recommendations to management on regional pricing, customer needs and new business opportunities. 2.Business Development: Identify potential new customers (both residential and commercial). Initiate contacts and present sales information to increase custo ase and increase sales to existing customers.3.Customer Service: Monitor customer service data. Identify any issues or problems and work with staff and customer representatives to resolve issues. Monitor delivery schedules, special orders and delivery problems and provide direction to resolve problems when necessary. Adjusts delivery schedules to meet pricing standards.4.Staff Supervision: Hire, train and evaluate performance of Branch staff. Ensure safety and environmental standards are maintained. Monitor training, certification and licensure of all staff and ensure compliance with training and licensing requirements.5.Planning: Provide input to quarterly and annual business plans. Monitor progress in each period and adjust activities to ensure goals are met.6.Facilities and Equipment: Ensure office facilities are maintained and work with Maintenance staff to schedule cleaning, repairs and office equipment replacement. Monitor maintenance of transportation equipment (trucks, pumps, etc.) and work with Maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained without interfering with delivery schedules.
