Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will have the following main functions and responsibilities:
Oversee and assess third party provider in charge of delivering and managing a world class maintenance program (Valmet).
Set strategy, expectations and objectives;
Review performance based on KPIs;
Oversight of Planning and Scheduling Processes;
Strategize and develop proactive maintenance procedures that will increase productivity and reduce downtime by continuous improvement;
Support the units business and operational strategy as a
maintenance/reliability specialist and being a key member of the management team, participating in the growth of the Mill;
Continue process of implementing world class reliability practices;
Promote sound occupational health and safety management. Make sure that best practices, efficiency and quality are applied to
:Minimum of a BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
:Minimum of 12 years of progressive management experience in maintenance.
:Knowledge of world class/reliability practices and usage of CMMS.
:Strong team player yet can function at a high level independently.
:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
