Sales and leasing of Bombardier Commercial Aircraft (BCA) used aircraft is critical to the success of BCA and its shareholders. The nature of the used aircraft market leads to a proliferation of new markets and customers covering countries and customers that are both developed and under developed.
We have an immediate opportunity for a Director Asset Management : Sales and Leasing in our Asset Management ("AM") group at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft (BCA). The position is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In your role, you will:
: Provide leadership and direction for AM aircraft sales team worldwide
: Create, set goals and execute the sales strategy for all sales and leasing worldwide.
: Your primary region will be sales within North America but also to act as the product and company champion worldwide
: Represent a positive and creative voice of the organization in your region
: Innovate continuously, seeking to tailor business needs to bring about profitable sales and leasing to help reduce the company's balance sheet exposure
: Act as the internal focal to develop and direct the implementation of sales strategies and tactics that manage and reduce Bombardier's liabilities with minimal impact to Bombardier, its Customers
: Review and understand commercial and contractual do entation Act as Customer focal for all activities relating to the sales or lease of used aircraft on behalf of Bombardier and its remarketing customers
: Build and foster relationships with our existing and potential customers, lessors and suppliers
: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities worldwide, forecasting orders with the expectation of achieving specific targets
: Lead and liaise with support teams, in particular, AM Risk and Asset Management, AM Technical Operations, Finance, Structured Finance, Contracts, Marketing, Customer Support and Asset owners.
As our ideal candidate,
: You have a degree in Business Administration, Legal, Finance, Engineering or Marketing combined with ten (10) years' experience in aerospace and aviation industry in sales and/or leasing.
: You possess the ability to deliver sales and leasing success, to lead and drive teams in the execution of sales and leasing strategies that meet specific company and departmental requirements.
: You have the ability to deal effectively with all levels within Bombardier and airline management and possess strong presentation skills.
: You have knowledge of overall company policies, systems, and procedures as well as languages in this region are considered assets.
: You possess a very good understanding of asset management budgets and forecasts, sales and leasing models, contracts, and aircraft financing.
: You will be required to travel internationally.
