Deloittes Canadian Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice offers companies professional transaction experience, from the strategic ysis phase of the transaction lifecycle, through execution, to transaction integration. We provide clients with a single point of contact who is focused on building a strategic relationship to address their transactions needs, and who can help leverage a global network of 5,000 transaction professionals in over 70 countries:to bring the right people and experience to work on every phase of a transaction.
Our Integration and Separation Advisory group facilitates the M and A integration process, working with cross:functional teams made up of members of both the acquiring and acquired organizations. We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Associate.
As a Senior Associate, you will:
:Work on client engagement teams executing Integration Advisory services which support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions;
:Be responsible for assessing the clients state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, while identifying high:risk areas, issues, interdependences and areas for overall improvement;
:Assist with the determination of operating models, the identification of synergies and value drivers and with the execution of the integration plan while working to constantly identify areas for improvement including resolving integration issues;
:Be responsible for creating work products that do ent the engagement procedures performed against objectives;
:Maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels;
:Effectively participate on teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients business;
:Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services. 13;

:Bachelors degree and approximately 4:5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1:2 years of related work experience;
:Applicable industry and/or consulting experience;
:Experience in re:engineering, turnarounds or business integrations, with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative ysis;
:Experience leading and managing in complex business environments;
:Ability to make detailed assessments of technology, operations or manufacturing infrastructure;
:Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas;
:Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration conflicts;
:Ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas;
:Excellent problem solving, project management, change management, facilitation and interpersonal skills;
:Superior structured communication capability (reports, presentations)
:A dedication to teamwork;
:Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50).
