: Answering Internet related customer service calls.
: Providing technical support to customers including:
: TCP/IP protocol diagnostics
: Internet related configuration and troubleshooting
: PC hardware and software diagnostics
: Cable network and modem troubleshooting
: Assigning problems to specific departments for escalation and resolution.
: Booking and managing customer support calls.
: Meeting or exceeding Call Centre monthly performance objectives including, call quality and call handle time.
: Notifying Management of widespread problems: i.e. trend identification
: You are required to be knowledgeable of and adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in company policy.
: Demonstrates behaviours, which support the Key Success Factors Accountability, Adaptability and Customer 1st.
: Excellent customer service skills.
: Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
: Post secondary education in a computer:related environment and/or comparable work experience.
: Advanced Internet expertise, including theory and applications.
: Advanced working knowledge of TCP/IP stack installation and troubleshooting.
: Strong PC hardware and software diagnostic skills with a strong background in Windows Operating systems.
: Previous Customer service or help desk experience, preferably in a call centre environment.
: Ability to work in a fast paced, automated environment.
: Flexibility to work any shift including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Bilingual is an asset
