The Program Lead, Corporate Health and Safety will be based in Brampton and will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Health and Safety.
The Program Lead works with the health and safety team to develop policies, corporate standards and programs to mitigate risk and drive evolution of the Rogers Health and Safety Management System.
:Leads Rogers compliance audit program and reporting, including program design, preparing communication and tools, conducting audits, writing reports, providing support and recommendations, and data reporting;
:Manage Rogers contractor safety management system and perform validations through do entation reviews and field visits/audits;
:Lead, manage and evolve regulatory and contractor compliance systems to meet the needs of the business;
:Coach Health and Safety Consultants in the areas of technical safety and systems;
:Effectively use information captured through data systems and audit processes to provide meaningful reports on performance and recommendations for improvement to operations and to the health and safety team;
:University degree, in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant science:based degree;
:Seven years of experience in health and safety;
:CRSP is an asset;
:OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor is an asset;
:Specialized safety experience in audit and field operations;
:Strong knowledge and experience in technical safety;
:Experience effectively managing projects from planning to implementation and evaluation;
:Strong aptitude for developing relationships and influencing stakeholders;
:Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills, with a key strength in audit report writing;
