What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities located in Regina, SK is looking for a full time Branch Operations Assistant to join their team. You will assist the branch in daily operations and ensure all duties are done correctly and efficiently. You will also provide administrative support to a team of successful and established Advisors. The successful candidate should have experience in the financial field or operational experience.
What will you do?
:Provide service to clients (clients include those of the branch as well as internal branch staff)
:Prepare cheques, RSP/RIF withdrawals as requested (i.e. ensure that cheques are properly signed before release or mailing)
:Prepare bank deposits, print daily reports and distribute them accordingly
:Maintain accurate branch report files, file branch do entation; pulling do entation for branch staff when needed.
:Support branch management in administrative functions: order office supplies; boardroom scheduling, provide support to Branch Administrator when needed.
What do you need to succeed?
:High attention to detail
:Strong written and communication skills
:Ability to work well on your own and in a team with a "can:do" positive attitude
:Experience in an operational setting
:Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is an asset
:Financial or brokerage experience
