Bell Canadas Treasury Department provides support to the Bell Canada group companies in the following areas: Treasury Operations, Capital Markets, Banking and Insurance and Rating Agencies, Investors Relations and Pension and Benefits. The Treasury Department is comprised of 50 employees, who are specialists in their respective fields. We are currently looking for a candidate to manage our Daily Cash Management Operation in Montreal. This will be an interesting opportunity for a dynamic self:starter looking for a new challenge in a large multi:faceted Treasury organization.
Reporting to the Director : Finance, Treasury Operations:
:Lead a team of 5 employees responsible for Bells daily cash management cycle
:Manage Treasury workstation
:Manage financial supplier relationships (banks, paying agents, trustees etc.)
:Resolve day:to:day issues with financial institutions
:Approve Treasury disbursements
:Support large corporate transactions
:Manage bank accounts
:Oversee bond administration
:Identify opportunities to improve processes/controls
:Lead Treasury integration of new companies in the group
:B. Commerce with an accounting designation
:10:15 years experience in Treasury/Banking environment
:Strong leadership abilities
:Excellent communication skills ( and written)
:Excellent planning and organizational skills
:Effective team player
:Experience managing staff
:Experience using Treasury software
:Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
:Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
