As a Consultant in our Cyber risk services group, you will :
:Support the team on security/controls and risk management solution development and system integration
:Support the group in identifying risks and controls within business and IT processes for various initiatives
:Perform security related technical implementation based activities on systems implementation projects
: yze logs, forensic, malware, or other incident response:related data, as needed
:Interact with clients in assessing or building security programs to help achieve their business goals
:Assist with the development of security strategies, policies and standards
:Identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for clients
:Graduating with an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, B with a Major in IT, Security or related field in 2017
:Excellent communication skills in and English, both verbal and in written
:The ability to work independently as part of solution teams
:Proven creativity, the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
:Leadership and initiative, in and out of the work environment
:Strong research skills
:Knowledge or curiosity with security or privacy enhancing technologies
:Ability and willingness to travel
:Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
:Canadian travel may be required and occasional international travel. Ability to enter the USA, EU and other developed countries to work on client assignments considered an asset
Knowledge and/or experience related to the following areas are considered an asset, but not mandatory :
:Knowledge of security frameworks and architectures
:Security ytics (including predicative ytics, quantitative and statistical ysis as it relates to IT Security)
:Knowledge of a development language such as Java or .NET and concepts such as Waterfall and Agile Development Lifecycle
:Understanding of the operating system platforms such as UNIX, Linux and Windows
:Understanding of common technologies such as databases, web servers, firewalls and mobile devices
:Knowledge of common network technologies, protocols
:Knowledge of identity and acces
