What is the opportunity?
RBC's Insurance business is entering a new market segment and seeking a Senior Property and Casualty Insurance Advisor who will be responsible for Home, Auto and Life and Leisure insurance product sales, service and retention for Dominion Securities (DS) clients, generating new business and obtaining referrals and expanding relationships with clients. In this new and exciting role you will bring your sales expertise to provide a differentiated client experience..."Concierge Service".
What will you do?
: Effectively partner with DS advisors to meet their clients individual Property and Casualty (P and C) Insurance needs as part of RBC's strategy to wrap our arms around our clients
: Enhance the overall RBC value proposition by offering referred clients: enhanced products specially designed for High Net Worth needs
: Technical expertise and client focus to provide clients with the advice they need to understand their unique needs and make informed decisions
: A differentiated "Concierge Service" offering that DS clients have come to expect from other RBC offerings through other RBC Partners (eg. Wealth Management, Private Banking)
: Contributes to and is responsible/accountable for team sales success through achievement of individual sales goal and through effective partnering with other team members (Employee Benefits Advisor, Commercial Lines Advisor and Group H and A Business Development Manager for business owners, Living Benefits Specialist for Individual Affluent clients)
What do you need to succeed?
: General Insurance License including Accident and Sickness License as provincially required
: University degree or equivalent preferred
: Minimum 2 years professional sales experience in the insurance industry
: Minimum 2 years experience working with high:net worth and / or VIP clients
Nice to have:
: An existing network of existing referrals and centres of influence
