We are looking for an experienced sales professional to support our growing Deloitte Private (DP) practice.
You will report to regional DP partner with respect to your market facing and sales activities. The competency of sales and account management is managed by Marketplace Services.
Working with the Partners and leveraging existing marketing programs, the primary role of the position will be to develop relationships with owners and senior level executives in target private companies for the purpose of building our top line revenue. Client opportunities will be identified and discussed as a team before they are pursued
You will initiate and lead interdependent relationship building and sales activities at a number of prospective target accounts. Once a qualified sales opportunity has been identified, you will help assemble a team to be involved in the pursuit, guided by the requisite technical and interpersonal skills.
You will help build the sales culture of the firm as a key member of the Deloitte Private team. Specific responsibilities include:
As a Business Developer you will:
:Participate in the development of the target list and execution of sales strategies;
:Drive key sales campaigns/initiatives for the region;
:Plan and execute relationship and sales calls, support proposal development and manage the sales closing process;
:Maintain ongoing account and opportunity status reporting using the firms CRM system;
:Generate sales leads/opportunities by developing relationships in the business community, engaging a Deloitte colleague in this process as often as possible;
:Develop strong working relationships with DP Partners for assigned targets and clients;
:Maintain understanding of and relationship with other marketing, sales and pursuit support practitioners;
:Promote and leverage existing Deloitte programs (Best Managed, Women of Influence, etc.) within the practice; 13;

:Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in selling professional services;
:Demonstrate understanding of business and an ability to converse with business leaders;
:Excellent interpersonal relationships and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams;

:Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 13;
