Researchers at York University are looking for healthy older adults to partner with us in making a valuable contribution to research as a participant in our study!
To better understand brain changes associated with cognitive aging, we are investigating differences between younger and older adults on a variety of cognitive tasks and lifestyle measures. The program consists of 3 different kinds of sessions. There are in-lab sessions during which a researcher will work through some cognitive tasks with you that test memory, attention, and reasoning, an online session in which you will be completing some surveys from home, and finally a non-invasive MRI scan of your brain.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
You will be compensated monetarily for you time, which will allow you to receive between $150-$200. You will also receive a 3D image of your brain!!
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
- Older adults between the ages of 60-90
- English speaking
- No current neurological or psychological concerns or treatment
